Talent show judge SIMON COWELL was shocked when an AMERICAN IDOL contestant labelled him homosexual.

The British music expert, known as MR NASTY, left a wannabe singer reeling after dealing her a crushing blow about her chances of a pop career.

Angry KIRA SCOTT told Cowell he must be gay if he can't see her talent, which prompted his fellow judges PAULA ABDUL and RANDY JACKSON to burst into laughter.

Simon's spokesman MAX CLIFFORD says, "Simon Cowell is about as gay as MIKE TYSON."
