COUPLING - COUPLING CANCELLED

Proof that not all hit British shows fare well in America has come in the form of the cancellation of comedy COUPLING.

The sexy sitcom was billed as "the new FRIENDS" at the beginning of its run in September (03), but poor ratings have prompted NBC network bosses to pull the plug on the show.

Ten episodes of Coupling's 13-episode order have been completed, but the show has been yanked after just four shows.
