COSBY VOWS TO FIGHT SEX CLAIMS IN CIVIL COURT

Comedian BILL COSBY has vowed to fight a civil lawsuit against the woman accusing him of sexual assault.

Police in his native Pennsylvania decided not to prosecute claims Cosby drugged and molested the woman at his Philadelphia home last year (04) because they found "insufficient credible and admissible evidence".

Nevertheless, the star is prepared to prove his innocence in a civil court.

He says, "I am not going to give in to people who try to exploit me because of my celebrity status.

"Sometimes you try to help people and it backfires on you and then they try to take advantage of you.

"People can soil you by taking advantage."
