SEAN CONNERY - CONNERY'S COLLEGE RAGE

Sir Sean Connery presents the 'Career Achievement Tribute Award' at the 4th Annual Bahamas International Film Festival to Daryl Hannah
Paradise Island, Bahamas ....
Scottish actor SIR SEAN CONNERY shocked a young co-star by raging at him over the telephone for ditching college to pursue his acting dreams. The screen stalwart became pals with 22-year-old ROB BROWN after starring with him in 2000 movie FINDING FORRESTER. But when he spotted Brown, who had since signed up for a college course, in the trailer for 2005 movie COACH CARTER, he assumed he must have dropped out to act in the movie - and gave him a stern telling off. Brown, who is in fact combining acting with his studies, says, "Sean told me to stay in school and I've taken his advice. "In all likelihood, acting is what I want to do. But I want to wait until I graduated before making it final."
