JENNIFER CONNELLY - CONNELLY'S SON DISAPPOINTED WITH BROTHER

Pregnant actress JENNIFER CONNELLY's son was greatly disappointed to learn she's expecting another boy - because he was adamant he his mother was going to give him a baby sister.

OSCAR-winning beauty Connelly and her actor husband PAUL BETTANY are expecting their first child together in August (03) - but the screen beauty's five-year-old son KAI had hoped to remain the only boy in the family.

The actress explains, "He was very excited at first - he was very convinced we were having a girl. He came to the sonogram with us and the technician said, 'So, who wants to know what the sex is?' He said, 'It's a girl! I know it's girl.' And she said, 'Guess again," and his face just fell and he stormed out of the room!"

"But now he's come around now and is excited about it."
