COLDPLAY - COLDPLAY TOP WORLDWIDE ITUNES CHARTS

British rockers COLDPLAY are celebrating today (21APR05) after shooting to the top of internet music download store iTunes' international chart.

Fans around the globe have been busy downloading the group's new tune SPEED OF SOUND for the past day and they've helped to propel the track to number one on all 15 iTunes charts around the world.

Speed of Sound is the first single from Coldplay's forthcoming X+Y album.

Meanwhile, the group headlines the first day of the COACHELLA MUSIC FESTIVAL in California this Saturday (23APR05), and will then embark on their biggest world tour to date.
