C-MURDER PUNISHED FOR CHEEKY PRISON VIDEO
Rapper C-MURDER has been banned from conducting any form of business from Jefferson Parish jail in Louisiana after making prison officials look stupid by shooting a video from behind bars.
The hip-hop star, real name COREY MILLER, is serving a second degree murder charge for his part in the killing of a 16-year-old inside a nightclub.
But that hasn't stopped him making music videos - he infuriated law officials in Louisiana last year (04) when he starred in his own rap promo in an orange prison outfit, and complained about racial profiling in the system.
Now, he has been told his lawyer can only bring a pad and pencil to the jail when he meets Miller, so prison staff can make sure the rapper won't be able to conduct anymore business from behind bars.
SHERIFF HARRY LEE, who was one of those embarrassed by the video shoot, has told Miller's attorney that he won't be able to bring a pen to meetings because they are hollow and can be used to carry song lyrics.
Meanwhile, Miller's attorney, RON RAKOSKY, has asked the 5th Circuit Court of Appeal to reconsider its 10 March (05) decision upholding the rapper's conviction. If the conviction stands, Miller would spend the rest of his life in prison.
