CLOSE SHOWS OFF A MOUTHFUL

FATAL ATTRACTION star GLENN CLOSE showed fans the depth of her mouth on American TV last night (02MAR05) - when she rammed a plastic bottle into it.

The actress made an appearance on JAY LENO's chat show to promote her TV series THE SHIELD, when the comedian showed her footage of a lookalike fan who could fit a bottle into her mouth.

When he pulled out a bottle and suggested she try it herself, Close refused, explaining, "How can I be on the Shield with those guys and do that? If all those guys on the Shield see this, I will never live it down. Never!"

Instead, Close attempted to show off her juggling skills but failed miserable when she dropped the balls everywhere - so she reluctantly grabbed the bottle from Leno and shoved it into her mouth to huge applause and cheers from the audience.
