GEORGE CLOONEY is following in the footsteps of his OCEAN'S ELEVEN co-star BRAD PITT, by promoting beer.

Several weeks after Pitt was unveiled in his anticipated HEINEKEN commercial, sources say Clooney will become the voice of BUDWEISER in the US.

While Clooney has happily appeared in commercials for various products outside of America, his reported US signing marks a first.

But fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the star in full commercial glory will have to settle for just his voice, as he's declined the opportunity to appear on camera, according to US WEEKLY.
