BILL CLINTON - CLINTON.S SLOW BOOKS

Former American president BILL CLINTON and his wife HILLARY are having trouble with their literary careers.
According to reports, Hillary is in trouble with her publishers SIMON + SCHUSTER for failing to complete her $8 million (GBP5 million) memoirs on time, while Bill Clinton's $12 million (GBP9 million) work is behind schedule too.
The New York senator received a $2.85 million (GBP1.9 million) advance for her work, but has apparently not even come up with a title yet.
An insider at Simon and Schuster was quoted as saying on political gossip guru MATT DRUDGE's website THE DRUDGE REPORT, "It's off to the printer next month (MAY03), but the manuscript isn't in yet. And there is no title. Without a title, it's been difficult to market."
However, Simon + Schuster deny any problems. President JACK ROMANOS says, "The book is in great shape."
A Clinton friend adds, "In all fairness, she has been preoccupied with serving New York during these challenging times. (But) the writing is wonderful, touching and will lift Hillary to a new level of respect."
