Pop superstar KELLY CLARKSON wants only one gift for her upcoming 24th birthday - an engagement ring.

The AMERICAN IDOL star has told friends she wants to get engaged to rocker boyfriend GRAHAM COLTON when she celebrates her birthday on 24 April (06).

A source tells American magazine In Touch, "They're both very spiritual and share the same values... They're ready to make a commitment."

Clarkson and Colton, who fronts THE GRAHAM COLTON BAND, met and fell in love last summer (05) when the rocker's group was picked to support the BREAKAWAY singer on her US tour.
