AMERICAN IDOL - CLARKSON INSTALLS STUDIO ON BUS

AMERICAN IDOL winner KELLY CLARKSON has installed a mini-studio on her tour bus, because she feels at her most inspired when she's on the road.

The BECAUSE OF YOU hitmaker has been writing her own tracks and is keen to channel the energy and emotion she experiences on tour into her songs.

And Clarkson promises fans will be able to hear the results on her next album.

She says, "It's a great emotional state to write at when you're tired, because on the road you are going so many places, and being a little rundown can be good for you sometimes, like especially creatively.

"Not so much your body, but it is an awesome environment."
