CHUBBY CHECKER - CHUBBY CHECKER GETS TWISTING IN THE KITCHEN

Sixties singer CHUBBY CHECKER is turning his biggest hit, THE TWIST, into a food empire by coming up with twist-inspired snacks.

The enterprising rock 'n' roll star has grown tired of food firms using his 1960 smash-hit to advertise their brands over the years and now he plans to cash in with his own treats.

He says, "I came up with a line of some of my own original ideas: Chubby's Chocolate Checkerbar candy and four different Twist Beef Jerky varieties and four different varieties of Twist Popcorn and Outside The Bun Hot Dogs.

"I also have a French fry that I have developed. I have a feel for this business. I love food and the food industry is huge and I just love dealing in it."
