CHRISTINA AGUILERA - CHRISTINA GETS SERIOUS WITH HER NEW LOOK

Flamboyant singer CHRISTINA AGUILERA has gone classy with her latest look - by wearing business suits and dying her hair brown.

The colourful pop star, who is famous for wearing very little and testing fans with a string of outlandish looks, has ditched her all-black 'goth' look for that of a New York businesswoman.

She showed off her new look for the first time on ELLEN DeGENERES' daytime chat show in America on Friday (19MAR04).

Aguilera said, "I was doing the black thing for a while. I did the STRIPPED + JUSTIFIED tour and I thought it was time for a change.

"I change my look a lot. This is what I'm feeling right now."

Aguilera, who confessed her new look resembled "macaroni and cheese" when she first dyed her hair, told DeGeneres that she had a secret to looking her best when she's growing out her hair - wear a hat.

She explained, "We take little breaks and there are ways of hiding the hair while the process is being done. Hats are a great thing to hide the hair whenever you're in the middle of colouration."
