JACQUES CHIRAC - CHIRAC HITS THE BIG SCREEN

French President JACQUES CHIRAC is to hit the big screen in France, in a new satirical documentary about his life. The unlikely movie star's antics, which have involved womanising and the alleged illegal raising of political funds, will be 'celebrated' in DANS LE PEAU DE JACQUES CHIRAC (INSIDE THE SKIN OF JACQUES CHIRAC). And although many cinemagoers are expected to see the movie as an opportunity to laugh at their leader, director KARL ZERO insists he wants to portray his "human side". He says, "It is the story of this bloke who wants vaguely to succeed, confronted with a romantic destiny, and an absurd run of luck, which transforms each error into a triumph."
