FINDING NEMO - CHILDREN URGED NOT TO 'GRIND NEMO'

Following the success of underwater adventure FINDING NEMO, an environmental company is discouraging children from following the animated movie's lead by flushing live fish down the drain.

A company which manufactures equipment used to process sewage has issued a press statement warning that drain pipes to lead to the ocean eventually, but first the fluid goes through powerful machines which "shred solids into tiny particles".

The JWC ENVIRONMENTAL company writes, "In truth, no one would ever find Nemo, and the movie would be called 'GRINDING NEMO'."

In the unlikely event of Nemo surviving the deadly machines, the company adds, he would probably be killed by the chlorine disinfection.
