SHERYL CROW gave pal ELLEN DeGENERES a thrill on her 35th birthday - by dressing up as a majorette and filming a private show with a marching band.

Ellen welcomed Crow onto her hit new American TV chat show yesterday (19NOV03) for the first time, and reminded her of the hilarious birthday video.

DeGeneres recalled, "It starts on her face and pans out and she's on a field with a marching band in a majorette outfit twirling a baton, throwing it in the air - and you were really good."

A red-faced Crow admitted there was more to the sexy video than Degeneres had realised at first, saying, "I was also wearing a very short skirt and wearing a G-string."
