DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star RICARDO CHAVIRA upset his father yesterday (20SEP05) when he appeared on TYRA BANKS' new daily talk show - because his dad is obsessed with the supermodel.

The Latino actor, who plays GABRIELLE's husband CARLOS in the hit show, revealed his 62-year-old father has a huge crush on Banks and would be devastated to watch his son get cosy with the stunner.

Chavira told Banks, "He's even made up this whole pretend relationship - not that he's stalking you."

The red-faced actor didn't know where to look when Banks insisted he stuck around to comment on Victoria's Secret's new lingerie line.

Banks, who models for the saucy firm, brought out a troupe of sexy ladies in bras and asked her embarrassed guest to comment on each one.
