DREW BARRYMORE - CHARLIE'S ANGELS FLY EAST

The stars of new action blockbuster CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE have visited Tokyo to promote the movie.

CAMERON DIAZ, LUCY LIU and DREW BARRYMORE were mobbed by thrilled fans as they made their appearance to plug the DEMI MOORE-starring sequel - which they promise will be even more action-packed.

Diaz gushes, "I lived here when I was 16 for three months and I had the most amazing experience. I love Japan, the people, the culture and I'm just so happy and thrilled to be here."

Liu adds, "The level of action is so much bigger than the first film. We wanted to bring in more audience, for men and boys, so we took it to an even higher level and it's much greater, much more fierce. We got down in dirty, we weren't afraid to get hurt...it's just more hardcore."

The movie opens in Japan and America on 27 June (03).
