CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY - CHARLIE AND INCREDIBLES WIN CHILDREN'S BAFTAS



CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and THE INCREDIBLES were among the winners at the British Academy Children's Film And Television Awards (Children's BAFTAs) in London last night (27NOV05).

TIM BURTON's adaptation of ROALD DAHL's classic children's book beat a host of films to win the Bafta Kids' Vote at the ceremony in the London Hilton hotel, with the film's Charlie, FREDDIE HIGHMORE in attendance.

However, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, THE POLAR EXPRESS and SHARK TALE were beaten to the Best Feature Film gong, which was claimed by Disney animation The Incredibles.

Other winners on the night included THE LITTLE REINDEER for Best Animation, RAD: THE GROMS TOUR AMERICA for Best Entertainment and JAKERS! THE ADVENTURES OF PIGGLEY WINKS for Best International.
