MARIAH CAREY is desperate to recruit top designer KARL LAGERFELD to create a glitzy wardrobe for her forthcoming Adventures of Mimi tour. The chart-topping beauty adores the flamboyant fashionista, and has plans to collaborate with him on a number of projects. She tells PageSix.com, "I hope Karl Lagerfeld can design the outfits. He is very funny. And so smart. "If he doesn't work with me on the tour, there is another project I want to work with him on."
