TRUMAN CAPOTE - CAPOTE BEATS SYRIANA IN SCRIPTER AWARD RE-VOTE
LATEST: TRUMAN CAPOTE biopic CAPOTE has edged out SYRIANA to win the coveted University Of Southern California Scripter Award for Best Movie Screenplay.
The two scripts tied for the prize in the first vote, held last week (ends13JAN05), but Capote has since been announced the victor after a second vote.
The prize honours both the movie screenwriter DAN FUTTERMAN and the author of the adapted book, GERALD CLARKE.
