NEVE CAMPBELL - CAMPBELL PUTS HORROR PAST BEHIND HER
Canadian actress NEVE CAMPBELL hopes her London theatre debut will silence critics who try to label her a horror movie star.
Despite starring in various different film and TV genres, Campbell is often typecast as a horror star, because of her starring role in the SCREAM franchise.
But, as she prepares to star in ROBERT ALTMAN's production of RESURRECTION BLUES at London's Old Vic, Campbell hopes to prove herself as a serious actress.
She says, "I do think it's funny that some people still think of me as someone who does horror movies. It's just not what I'm about anymore.
"I did my first Scream when I was 21 and I'm 32 now. It's so in the past."
