NEVE CAMPBELL - CAMPBELL HAD STALKERS AFTER SCREAM

Actress NEVE CAMPBELL was terrorised by a string of stalkers after the SCREAM horror films brought her international fame.

The 32-year-old, who played SIDNEY PRESCOTT in the hit slasher trilogy, claims one disturbed fan thought he was WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE and wrote her poetry.

She says, "Just after the Scream films the attention was probably at its peak, and it was very difficult to deal with.

"I had to cope with several stalkers and a lot of very strange letters.

"But it's not like that now. The people who are watching the sort of stuff I do now are older and more mature - they have jobs and lives and families.

"I don't get the obsessive stuff any more."
