PIERCE BROSNAN - CAMPBELL: 'FORGET ABOUT BROSNAN AS BOND'

LATEST: PIERCE BROSNAN's JAMES BOND days are well and truly over if director MARTIN CAMPBELL is to be believed.
Despite reports the actor will return as 007 in new film CASINO ROYALE, the New Zealand-born movie-maker insists the old Bond is out - and he's looking for a new superspy.
Campbell, who directed Brosnan in GOLDENEYE, has told Bond gossip website www.JamesBond007.net the Irishman will not be asked to star in Casino Royale.
Campbell insists four actors, SAM WORTHINGTON, HENRY CAVILL, DANIEL CRAIG and ER star GORAN VISNJIC, are being considered for the role and producers will name the new 007 in "less than three weeks".
Campbell has also revealed he's looking for a Frenchman to play lead villain, LE CHIFFRE.
Bollywood star GULSHAN GROVER confirmed earlier this week (begs03OCT05) that he has signed up to play another Bond baddie in Casino Royal.
