BRUCE WILLIS - BRUCE WILLIS TO PLAY J.R.?

Movie star BRUCE WILLIS is being hotly tipped to take the role of oil baron J.R. EWING in a big-screen remake of 1980's TV series DALLAS.
DIE HARD action-hero Willis has made it clear that he wants the juicy role of the megalomaniac bigshot, although BASIC star JOHN TRAVOLTA was first mooted for the part.
A source tells British tabloid THE SUN, "JR is one of TV's most famous baddies, and it's a role Hollywood actors would love to get their teeth into.
"Travolta was seen as favourite but now it's clear Bruce would love to play JR."
The original Dallas, with LARRY HAGMAN in Ewing's role, was one of the biggest TV phenomenons of the Eighties, drawing millions of viewers.
Creator DAVE JACOBS has agreed to produce a film version of the series with studio TWENTIETH CENTURY FOX next year (04).
Irish hunk COLIN FARRELL is rumoured to be playing BOBBY EWING and JESSICA LANGE as dipsomaniac SUE ELLEN.
