BRUCE LEE - BRUCE LEE HONOURED IN BOSNIA

BRUCE LEE has been honoured in Mostar, Bosnia, with a life-size bronze statue to celebrate what would have been his 65th year.

The life-size figure was erected yesterday (26NOV05), the day before the today's (27NOV05) anniversary of martial arts hero's birthday.

Bosnia beat Hong Kong to unveiling the world's first bronze of Lee - Hong Kong's tribute to their favourite star is to be presented today on their Avenue Of Stars.

Bosnia has a special fondness for Lee, as he is seen in the country as a positive symbol against ethnic strife.

VESELIN GATALO, of the Urban Movement Mostar, says, "We will always be Muslims, Serbs or Croats.

"But one thing we all have in common is Bruce Lee."
