THE OC - BRODY EMBARRASSED BY SUPERMARKET ATTENTION

THE OC star ADAM BRODY experienced the awkward side of his fame, when he was pursued by a middle-aged woman in a supermarket.

While the 26-year-old is enjoying the attention of his fans, having older admirers chase him in public is something that will take some time to get used to.

Brody says, "I am always approached by people who recognise me. A lot of the teenage girls get so excited when they see me. They all want a hug, and you know, that's cool in a way.

"But recently, I was in this crowded supermarket and this middle-aged woman came up to me, screaming my name, and wanted me to hug her. That was really uncomfortable. Everyone was watching.

"I wanted to be polite, bit it was embarrassing for me. I love that she watches the show, but still."
