BRITNEY SPEARS - BRITNEY: 'MY HUSBAND PAYS HIS OWN WAY'

Newlywed superstar BRITNEY SPEARS has slammed media reports claiming her new husband KEVIN FEDERLINE relies on her for money.

The furious TOXIC star insists Federline always pays his own way and never asks her to dip into her $108 million (GBP60 million) fortune - he even took out a loan to pay for her wedding ring.

She blasts, "I am very annoyed with some reports speculating such rubbish that I had to pay for the wedding myself and that I even had to buy my own ring.

"It's simply so not true. Kevin took out a loan to contribute towards the wedding and so he could buy me my band. He insisted.

"It's so hurtful when this kind of thing comes out.

"Kevin pays his own way and I wouldn't have it any other way."

Before the marriage - which occurred at a private home in Studio City, California, last Saturday (18SEP04) - Federline signed a pre-nuptial agreement stopping him getting his hands on Britney's cash if they split.
