MOGWAI rocker STUART BRAITHWAITE has rubbished recent reports rock band TEST ICICLES are splitting up - because they've only been together for two years. The guitarist finds it ridiculous the cult English musicians are giving up after such a short-lived career, and insists they lack the stamina necessary to make it in the music business. He says, "They've split up because of the 'constant pressures of touring'! "That is so ridiculous. Jesus, they've only been going for about three bloody weeks!" The Test Icicles recently announced FOR SCREENING PURPOSES ONLY would be their final album.
