THE SOPRANOS - BRACCO DELIBERATELY DESTROYED RELATIONSHIP WITH KEITEL

THE SOPRANOS star LORRAINE BRACCO is convinced she had an affair with co-star EDWARD JAMES OLMOS to get out of her tumultuous relationship with actor HARVEY KEITEL. Bracco, who plays therapist DR JENNIFER MELFI on the hit show, had a fling with Olmos in 1990 when the pair were filming TALENT FOR THE GAME in Idaho. The star insists her pairing with Keitel had become "catastrophic" because of his drug use and she was looking for a way to sabotage the relationship and escape. She claims Keitel was furious when he discovered her infidelity: "He hated me for it. I disgusted him. "That was the beginning of the end. I knew that. "And maybe it was my very immature, 'un-Doctor-Melfi-ish' way to end that relationship."
