CULTURE CLUB - BOY GEORGE ATTACKS CONTEMPORARY BANDS

Former CULTURE CLUB frontman BOY GEORGE launched a scathing attack at contemporary bands at last night's (15FEB06) Brit Awards - branding them all "boring".

George, real name GEORGE O'DOWD, claimed there were only three new bands he listened to, citing all the others as dull and unoriginal.

He said, "The bands today are completely boring.

"I like ANTONY AND THE JOHNSONS, the KAISER CHIEFS and ARCTIC MONKEYS - but they're only three of all the thousands out there."
