EMINEM has found a way to stay away from legal trouble - boxing.

The rapper is determined to avoid controversy after an assault charge in 2001 almost landed him behind bars and now he hits the gym whenever something upsets him.

And, working with LENNOX LEWIS' ex-trainer EMMANUEL STEWARD, Eminem has become quite proficient in the ring.

He says, "I took on boxing just to get the stress out. I'm not saying that I don't still got it in me... But things changed."
