BOW WOW'S MOTHER KEEPING HIM IN CHECK

Teen hip-hop star BOW WOW finds his mother tough to deal with - because she constantly checks up on him when he's out with pals.

The 17-year-old rapper, who shares his Atlanta, Georgia, home with his mum, admits he's now looking forward to living alone next year (05) so he can come and go as he pleases.

Bow Wow, who stars alongside SOLANGE KNOWLES and VANESSA WILLIAMS in the new comedy JOHNSON FAMILY VACATION, says, "My mom, she lets me roam a little bit, but last night I was out and she just kept calling. My mother never just like calls and she just kept calling me constantly for nothing.

"She was like, 'Bow, what are you doing?' I'm like, 'Mom, you just called me, like, five minutes ago! What could you possibly want?' Then she picked up the phone again, like, 10 minutes later, 'Bow, what are you doing?'

"I was just out... I was hanging out with my friends. I actually went to go see my movie."
