Indian movie interpretations of two classic WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE plays are in production, despite the 2003 disappointment of MAQBOOL, which was loosely based on MACBETH. Director VISHAL BHARADWAJ is filming OMKARA - his version of OTHELLO - starring SAIF ALI KHAN, KAREENA KAPOOR and AJAY DEVGAN. Also set for production is a film by ONIR, who just completed the script for his version of HAMLET.
