Former JAMES BOND girl HONOR BLACKMAN resorted to appearing in a popular British TV soap to remind fans she's still working.

The actress - who starred as PUSSY GALORE alongside SIR SEAN CONNERY in 1964's GOLDFINGER - reluctantly agreed to feature as the glamorous RULA ROMANOFF in CORONATION STREET to bask in some much-needed media attention.

She says, "It was a form of madness.

"I only did it because of the incredible amount of press you get and it reminds everyone you're still here.

"In reality, I had never even seen the show."
