JANE BIRKIN - BIRKIN'S PRE-TOUR BLOW OUT PREPARATION

Veteran singer JANE BIRKIN prepared in style for her current tour - she got so drunk she vomited.

The 56-year-old JE T'AIME (MOI NON PLUS) chanteuse gives up both alcohol and cigarettes when she performs live dates - so she had a massive session of decadence before she set off on tour to sate her love of the intoxicants.

She says, "A month before the tour, I stopped the fags and drink. Plunged into it pretty heavily, a last plunge, and was vomiting all over the bathroom floor.

"I was on wine, probably the third or fourth bottle. I never know when to stop. I finish what I've got and what everyone else has. I start off with a good wine, end up with any old s***!"
