STEVEN BERKOFF - BERKOFF BLASTS ELTON'S TASTE

Acclaimed actor and playwright STEVEN BERKOFF has slammed SIR ELTON JOHN - calling him an "aesthetic anorexic".
Berkoff was among interested parties at London's SOTHEBY's auction house, where pop legend Elton - who was not present - was getting rid of the contents of one of his London homes.
The OCTOPUSSY actor was spotted lurking among Elton's bronze NAPOLEON busts and leopard-print furniture when he sniped, "The Elizabethan paintings are wonderful but the rest is ghastly.
"The eclectic taste has such a bourgeois sensibility to it. I don't collect things to vomit them out again like an aesthetic anorexic.
"Everything I have is to keep."
