MOTLEY CRUE - BATTERY CASE DISMISSED FOR VINCE NEIL
Former MOTLEY CRUE singer VINCE NEIL has had a battery case against him dismissed after completing 100 hours of community service.
However, the news will only offer short respite for the 43-year-old, who has another court appearance on a different battery charge set for later this month (APR04).
The GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS star was charged with battery after a run-in outside a Los Angeles nightclub in April 2002.
But Superior Court Judge RICHARD STONE granted a request to dismiss the case on Wednesday (07APR04).
Neil's latest misdemeanour battery charge stems from an assault on a prostitute after he allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck and threw her against a wall.
He is due in court on 22 April (04), according to his attorney.
