N SYNC - BASS AND FATONE TEAM UP ON TV

Former 'N SYNC bandmates LANCE BASS and JOEY FATONE are getting a second chance at fame, with their own TV show.

US cable network UPN have signed up Bass, 26, and Fatone, 28, to play roommates in OUT OF SYNC.

UPN president DAWN OSTROFF likens the series to cult 1970s TV show THE ODD COUPLE, which starred TONY RANDALL and JACK KLUGMAN as two divorcees with opposite personalities sharing a home.

Ostroff enthuses, "They came to us. Joey and Lance are such fun, interesting people and they truly are an odd couple - even if you sit in a room with them, it's Felix and Oscar in many ways."
