THE OC - BARTON'S COLLEGE DREAMS

THE OC star MISCHA BARTON is planning to study at college - as soon as she gets a break from her burgeoning acting career.

The British-born actress, 18, leapt to international fame last year (04) playing troubled teen MARISSA COOPER in the hit show, but despite her love of acting, Barton is intent on improving her education.

Barton says, "I'll go to Yale (Connecticut) as soon as there's a break in my career so that I can take it seriously."
