MISCHA BARTON - BARTON SLAMS OC RIFT ACCUSATIONS

Actress MISCHA BARTON has hit out at accusations THE OC cast are continually rowing - insisting the stars of the hit TV show are great friends.

The sexy teenager admits she and her co-stars RACHEL BILSON, ADAM BRODY and BEN McKENZIE had been warned rumours would spring up about supposed tensions between them, just as they have on popular drama DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.

She says, "We were told to expect that because the show is so popular.

"It's ridiculous. We're happy, we have a very sweet cast.

"The first time I met the other actors it was so awkward. We didn't know if we'd form those relationships but we've found a way to get along.

"It could've been so different - we're lucky."
