THE OC star MISCHA BARTON admits life as a "pretty and thin" woman is tough - because people always make negative assumptions about her.

The British-born actress claims that many people automatically decide that her good looks and slender frame are accompanied by a dysfunctional lifestyle.

She says, "Pretty people aren't as accepted as other people... it's like, 'She's pretty and thin and she's got to have problems... She's messed up.'"
