ASHLEE SIMPSON - ASHLEE CHANGES HER DIET TO COMBAT ACID REFLUX

Pop star ASHLEE SIMPSON has overhauled her diet in a bid to make sure the acid reflux problem that caused her to mime her performance on top American TV show SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE never happens again.

An embarrassed Simpson dashed from the stage in tears when she started performing to the wrong backing tape and later blamed a bout of acid reflux for her decision not to sing live.

And now she's taking measures to make sure she never has to opt out of performing live for her fans again.

She reveals, "I can't eat after nine o'clock at night. I can't eat dairy. I have to prop my head up when I sleep... and before I do a show now, I don't speak for an hour."
