R+B singer ASHANTI has shrunk her entourage after learning many of her employees "weren't who I thought they were".
The FOOLISH singer has written about her experience with false friends in a new song FREEDOM on her third album CONCRETE ROSE.
Ashanti explains, "I kinda found out the hard way that these people weren't who I thought they were - they had ulterior motives.
"I had to make my circle a little bit smaller. And it was hard because I never thought it would be those people."
