Stunning ER star ALEX KINGSTON struggled acting a tough plotline about child birth - as it was so close to her real-life situation.
The British beauty, 40, who plays DR ELIZABETH CORDAY in the American show, found it hard to cope with the dramatic scenes of Dr Corday giving birth - because she recalled her own struggles to get pregnant with husband FLORIAN HAERTEL.
She says, "It was tough having just had a baby and then dealing with my character going through the same thing. It was all a little strange and wasn't easy at all.
"The IVF did pull us together. The shared experience created a bond which is incredibly strong. It had been hard when we were trying normally. I knew my ovulation window, and I would immediately attack Flo and say, 'We have to have sex right now,' and he felt used."
