AIR - AIR STAR GOES SOLO

Just days before Prime Minister Tony Blair says his farewells to the corridors of 11 Downing Street, it looks like the poor premier could be left homeless after a home improvement blunder.
Dealing with budgets and overspending should be a doddle for the man who controlled the country for 10 years ....
AIR star JEAN-BENOIT DUNCKEL will release his debut solo album in September (06), but has assured fans the French duo are not splitting up. Dunckel insists his eponymous disc will not interfere with Air's next album, which is almost finished and due out next year (07). And Dunckel promises some surprises are in store on the follow-up to 2004's TALKIE WALKIE. He says, "It's another direction, for sure. It's different, but it's Air. We like to change all the time. If we don't change our sound, we'll be dead. "People who like our music like to discover new things. They're curious. They have some cultural musical background also, so they want to be surprised."
