CHRISTINA AGUILERA fans holding out for a refund from the star's cancelled summer (04) tour are set to wait up to three years to get their cash back.

Many fans of the DIRRTY singer had purchased VIP tickets to her American concerts through her now-defunct fan club, FANSRULE.

But FansRule's proposition for over $1 million (GBP526,000) in financing was turned down in a bankruptcy court, and resolution of the company's liquidation could run up to three years.

Aguilera's lawyer, however, is hoping the process can be settled within a year.

FansRule still owes about $320,000 (GBP168,000) to the star's supporters.
