America's latest reality TV project has come under fire from adoption groups because it features a girl trying to correctly pick the father she has never met.
WHO'S YOUR DADDY, which premieres in America on 8 January (05), gives one contestant the choice of eight potential fathers. If she picks the right one she walks off with $100,000 (GBP52,630).
Adoption groups across America are outraged by the premise of the show.
JULIE TYE, a spokesman for adoption agency CRADLE, says, "Adoption is not a game."
TV bosses at FOX, who will air the show, insist all the parties involved in the show were willing participants and the contestant looking for her birth father was told she would be united with her dad whether she picked him and won the money or not.
