Hollywood heart-throb AARON STANFORD understands why so many actors turn to drugs - because movie sets are such boring places.

X-MEN 2 star Aaron says on the set of the sci-fi sequel even A-list stars like HALLE BERRY were left driven to the point of tedium.

The 25-year-old actor says, "You have these times where you just sit around for weeks on end not doing anything.

"And it was all of us. You know, Halle Berry's sitting around for days at a time doing nothing - and not being too happy about it.

"That's why I think there's so much substance abuse in the business. Because people get so f***ing bored."
